Research Project Introduction

Introduction:
The objectivity and the importance of scientific research results are the basis for any successful scientific research programme.  Indeed, the nation is neither in need of any scientific research that has empty goals nor of any kind, that serves the personal needs of the investigator(s).

Scientific research programmes in the medical fields should address the most important issues that affect the community.  They should strive to investigate into the etiology of diseases as well as new methods of diagnosis for most prevalent diseases and the methods of treatment of those illnesses.  This will undoubtedly turns out to be of tangible benefits to the community and the nation as a whole.

The Saudi Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery is taking the initiative in establishing a research programme in order to encourage high calibre investigative research in the fields of the most common skin diseases or new developments in dermatologic surgery.
